We back Rep. Annette Glenn for State Senate!

We support Rep. Annette Glenn’s candidacy for the District 35 state Senate seat representing the people of Bay, Midland, and Saginaw counties. Please stand with us today by making a contribution or volunteering to help Annette’s campaign!

Friends, the election results are in; unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in my Republican primary election. But that was yesterday. Today is a new day with new goals to achieve. And the number one item on our list is to unite behind Annette Glenn’s candidacy, ensure we win this seat, and keep the State Senate in Republican hands. Yesterday, Annette Glenn was my opponent. Today, she is my Republican State Senate candidate. I support her. I endorse her. And you should too. I’ll talk to you soon. — Martin

“On behalf of the members of the Fraternal Order of Police, one of Michigan’s oldest and largest law enforcement organizations, I am pleased to extend our endorsement for your election to the Michigan Senate. The men and women of the FOP appreciate the support you have given to the law enforcement community. We look forward to continuing to work with you on issues that impact the police officers of Michigan.” — Michael Sauger, State President, Michigan Fraternal Order of Police

ABC-Michigan President Jimmy Greene stands with Rep. Annette Glenn, R-Midland, in the Aug. 2nd Republican primary for District 35 state senator.

“Rep. Annette Glenn is a terrific candidate and one of the strongest candidates running for state office in this election,” said Jimmy Greene, president of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan, in announcing the group’s exclusive endorsement of Glenn’s candidacy in the Aug. 2nd Republican primary for District 35 state Senate.

“Annette is a true advocate for Free Enterprise and a champion for ABC members and our Merit Shop philosophy,” Greene said. “She has proven through two terms in the state House of Representatives that she is unwavering in defense of our hard-fought legislative victories. We need serious legislators who will act with integrity and work hard to find solutions to our state’s most pressing issues. We believe Annette will be an honest voice and effective advocate for ABC- Michigan’s values and the citizens of Senate District 35.”

Rep. Glenn said she is “honored to have the support of the independent-minded entrepreneurs, job creators, and skilled tradesmen who make up the bulk of Michigan’s building industry. As state senator, I’ll continue working closely with Jimmy and ABC contractors in Bay, Midland, and Saginaw counties to promote a growing economy and a robust job market that’s focused on expanding skilled trades training.”

After representing Bay County for three years in the state House, Rep. Glenn is honored to have the support of two long-time Republican community leaders:

* Former state Sen. Joel Gougeon, R-Bay City, founder of Gougeon Bros., Inc., former Bay City commissioner, and recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross after 197 missions as a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot in Vietnam.

* Former Bay City Commissioner Mike Wooley, vice-chairman of the recent Bay City Charter Review Commission, founding member of the local Knights of Columbus, and long-time ambassador for the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance.

Rep. Glenn is honored to be the only candidate in Michigan endorsed by former Gov. Mike Huckabee, TV host, Fox News commentator, and former Presidential candidate — but most impressive of all, father of superstar Trump Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the Republican nominee this year for governor of Arkansas.
