Our children’s future success is one of Rep. Glenn’s highest priorities at our state Capitol. She supports every child’s right to a quality education, to prepare future leaders for successful lives and a brighter future for our state. And just as all parents did during the COVID-19 school closures, she strongly supports parents’ right to choose which form of education works for their children.
A great education means we’re preparing our future leaders for a brighter tomorrow, and Rep. Glenn will continue to support that agenda.
- She voted for and passed record funding for students in both K-12 and higher education.
- She supports educational choice to ensure parents are free to choose the best and safest means of meeting their children’s educational needs, regardless of income or where they live, and including online or other alternatives that many parents turned to during the COVID-19 school closures.
- She knows that third grade literacy is essential to ensure our children’s educational needs are being met. If a student is not literate by the time they’re in 4th grade, they’ll fail to learn or retain as much as half of the material they’re taught thereafter. Rep. Glenn refuses to accept letting students fail before they’ve even truly begun learning.
